I studied Economics and Arabic, because I wanted to better understand the world. I'm passionate about economic and racial equality; preserving our environment in order to protect those least able to protect themselves; and fighting against mass incarceration.

I'm currently nursing my way through a year-long back injury, but I hope to be back at weightlifting and acrobatics as soon as humanly possible.

I studied Geosciences in college and gained a true understanding of what the Earth can do for us and vice versa. I'm currently a high school science teacher in south Florida so I can pass on my knowledge and passion to the next generation.

In addition to teaching, I am also a track & field and basketball coach at the school I teach. I also volunteer as a youth flag football coach in the area.
