About Me
Hello fellow couch surfers! I’m a Virginia girl born and bred, but I’m far from sedentary. I love traveling and seeing as many places as I can, so this summer I’m taking a few months to see my own country as I make my way to my new home on the west coast. I’m a very laid back, easy going person who likes meeting people and getting to know their culture through experience. I’ve only couch surfed once, but it was such an overwhelmingly positive experience! While I’m down to hang out and get to know you, I’m also very independent and do not need someone to be with me or tour me around (although I appreciate it if you enjoy doing that). I’m grateful for just a few tips on where to eat and what to see. I come equipped with a hammock and camping equipment, so I need very little in the way of accommodations, just a friendly face to direct me to interesting locations.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Money reasons aside, I find I always have a far better visit to a place if there’s a friendly face to show me around and immerse me in the culture.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m grateful for you opening your home to me! I’m neat and tidy, and don’t require much in the way of lodging. I’m a professional chef, so any dish you’ve ever been curious to know how to make, I can guide you through. I’d also love to cook for you. That being said, I’m interested in learning how you, your family, or the place you live in cooks food.
