About Me
Hi!
I'm Linda, I'm 21 years old, and my greatest wish right now is to see the world! I also love learning languages and learning new things about people from all over the world as well as meeting them and talking to them in whatever language possible, which is why I would love to do some couchsurfing.
PHILOSOPHY:
Live to love, be loved and find pleasure in things!
ABOUT ME:
After I've gotten my high school diploma in South Tyrol, Italy I have moved to Vienna, Austria to pursue my dream of becoming a professional actress, which is why I don't have much money or time to travel - right now I'm putting all my time and effort into making my dream become a reality! So when I do travel, I want to do it to the fullest - and I'm really grateful for all the cool possibilities this app offers.
I'm looking forward to staying with you soon!
Hugs,
Linda
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I want to see the world from another perspective. Not through hotel windows, but by actually staying with people and getting to know them, their country and culture!

Music, Movies, and Books
I really enjoy Rock N' Roll, Rock, Jazz and Blues, and all kinds of Broadway- and show tunes. I don't watch a lot of movies, I prefer watching Netflix whenever I have time for a catchy show, and when I have time to read, it's mostly historical novels or non-fiction; I prefer learning actual new information over reading fictional stories - but I do enjoy a good fictional novel every now and then, and of course, plays, especially German-speaking classics.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have written not one, but two songs for my best friend - one for his birthday, and the other one for Christmas. This may not sound THAT amazing, but I am not the most creative or artsy person out there... Guess I get creative on special occasions! I am also not a fan of material gifts, so I am proud of having found this way of appreciating him in a special way. (I may have also had a crush on him - it's a long story. If you'd be willing to hear it over a nice cup of tea or coffee, I'd be glad to share, and give you some love/relationship advice in return).
Teach, Learn, Share
First and foremost: If there's instruments nearby, I'd be super happy to teach you the basics of piano, guitar and ukulele. And what's practical about most pop songs is that you only need to know four basic chords on each of these instruments to play a whooole lot of songs. Easy cheesy, right?
The skill I rarely appreciate about myself is that I am quite good at make-up. Growing up I used to watch make-up tutorials on YouTube all the time, but never trying anything out - but once I started theatre and dance, I needed to put on a full face more often. And now I think I got pretty good, so if we are gonna go out, I'd be glad to slap some glam onto your face, regardless of your gender!
And the most important thing: I grew up in South Tyrol, the most northern part of Italy, where people's mother tongue is German. Sound weird? There is a long piece of (a bit sad, but also very hopeful) history behind it, and I love teaching others about growing up bilingually between two countries and two cultures. With me, you're basically hosting an Italian and Austrian at the same time! ;)
What I Can Share with Hosts
If there's a piano, a guitar or a ukulele nearby, we can sing any song you like together, I'm very willing to bring my songbook and put on a tune in your living room in the evening. I am also a decent cook, so as a thank you, the least I can do is cook you a meal from my home region and spend the whole evening telling you all about its history. And if you'd like to visit Vienna or my home region South Tyrol one day, I'd be more than happy to return the favour by letting you sleep at my place!
