Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couch surfing for a different take on travel. To get out of the routine of hostel life from time to time. For a new experience and to meet locals and to see and get their take on their city and country, I have found that meeting and staying with locals in the past has been the best experience, has made me feel the most at home and I have gotten the most joy out of it.

I am a writer at heart. A creative mind. I love family dynamics, music from all eras, working with children, history, nerding out on science and I take pride in the amount of pointless facts that I know.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Packed up my life into a backpack, said goodbye to my family, sold my car, moved out of my apartment, bought a one way ticket to Amsterdam and opened Google maps when I got there, four months ago.
