For me traveling is about people and places. There's nothing more interesting than getting to know people from all around the world. Learning a new perspective on things you might not have ever been thinking about by someone who has been raised differently is the best education you can get. And when then there developes an actual friendship, that's just magic.
I love Berlin, but not because I can get an expensive cappuccino at "Alexanderplatz" or because i can watch a million tourists with their selfiesticks in front of the "Brandenburger Tor". I love Berlin because of its crazy people, many little bars, dirty clubs and beautiful places to hang outside. Those things that I love as a local, are the things that I think you should see and that I want to see in other places. Of course I also want to take a picture of the Eiffeltower when being in Paris, but I am way more interested in this little café around the corner where you get recognized the second time you go there and the clubs where people are surprised about meeting someone who does not fluently speak the native language.
