About Me
CURRENT MISSION
explore San Francisco!
ABOUT ME
I find it hard to describe myself. I AM. I tend to be present and aware, engaging and enjoying, working on balancing, fiery and confident.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that life, especially in this form, is a tremendous blessing and opportunity. I seek to explore and discover, to engage multiple understandings, to balance and grow. to play to play to play.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have done a fair share of couch surfing and supplying. I tend to have and enjoy people with 'open' homes. Places where just about everyone feels welcome, where you can step into just chill'n, where people come and go. There seems to be a good amount of those kind of places in the social dance worlds I am part of and it is something about the dance culture I really appreciate.
Interests
I always have quite a lot. Currently I am interested in exploring San Francisco, learning Spanish, dabbling in circus again, exploring dance and music scenes here, and as always interacting with kids who remind me how amazing the world is!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just ONE!
okay, so i was out snorkeling with a friend who is a navy dive master just outside the cove on north shore on O'ahu. there is an underwater cliff about fifty feet out from the lip of the cove and maybe forty feet deep that my friend wanted us to go out to, to see if he could scare out any wild life for me to see, it was a beautifully clear day. he dove down and was under the cliff completely out of sight range. about a minute or so latter i saw the biggest turtles i have ever seen hauling it past me out to deeper water. now, i grew up in land locked Colorado, i didn't see a large body of water till i was about 13, so sea creatures are kind of theoretical to me. so, i am in the water waiting for my friend to resurface, chilling out enjoying the sun, when i see maybe 50 feet to my right something that looks remarkably like what i think a shark should look like. i had a very clear moment of zen. i thought, "i don't know if you want to eat me, but i am sure you can swim faster then i can and if you decide to eat me there is not a lot i am going to be able to do about it. and my friend is still down below the cliff so i think i will just wait here for him." the shark stayed about fifty feet off and watched me, it seemed like it was another few minutes before my friend surfaced (which it very well could have been since he can hold his breath for something ridiculous like six minutes). i pointed to the shark and ask what it was and he grabbed my arm and told me that we needed to swim away from it now. the shark was in the way of us going back towards the cove, so we swam around and once we got to the beach we sat down and he told me it was a tiger shark, and that they tend to be territorial and can be aggressive. a local man was sitting next to us just laughing at me tell the story of what happened, he said that anytime you see the turtles get out of a place probably not a place you want to be, he laughed some more and looked at me, "i think the tiger shark could tell you have no fear," still laughing and shaking his head.
