Hi, I am Joanna or Asia (this is how every Joanna is called in Polish). I live in the town of Wrocław in Lower Silesia, but I was born in Lesser Poland, grew up in Silesia, and studied in Warsaw, so I have experience from several places in Poland so far ;)

Now during the weekdays I do some not very exciting office work to be able to afford my hobbies.
Things I could not live without are music, trains, my cats, tea and tasty food.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's fun to travel, but it can be even better if you have someone to meet in the visited places, so Couch Surfing is great to find someone to meet with or even to be hosted.

I didn't know that there's so many good people around the world, before I started to travelling with CouchSurfing!

Interests

I am a huge music fan, especially I love singing, I sing in Wrocław-based heavy metal band Crimson Valley. I also attend concerts and festivals, mainly rock and metal ones, but not only. I've been to festivals in several countries so far.

I love trains, not only to travel with them, but also I like to read about them, visit railway museums and ride special trains made of old cars and locomotives.

I like to cook and trying to find new dishes and tastes I did not know before very exciting.

Languages are very exciting for me, it's fascinating how they live, develop, die and are related to each other like living organism. Unfortunately I do not have ability to systematically learn languages so I speak well only two foreign languages and a little bit of two other, but I love to read about them and learn new things, how they work.

Recently I started with knitting and crochet and I see this may be great way to creatively spend time.
