Overview
About Me
So, I'm 23 year old Belgian human being who recently finished studying. I'm now, once more, on what we call a 'gap year'. I've been around traveling a little in the beginning of the year, and working a little here in Brussels. Right now, my plan is to hitchhike (mostly) across Norway, to get to Nordkapp by the end of the month. I'm planning on camping where I can and try to avoid the busy places for the most part, as I tend to enjoy hiking in the most remote places.
I also have a soft spot for anything to do with music (I don't play anything though, sadly enough) or arts in general (seeing that's what I graduated in, I guess that makes sense). And of course, I never say no to a little drink or some good food!
Voilà, a little all over the place, but it's always difficult to write this kind of stuff...
I hope we get to meet soon!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Well it does seem to be a more social way to travel, which is always nice. I mean, going to the hotel or hostel when you're traveling alone isn't really that fun...
So, here I am!
Interests
I graduated in graphic design, so anything to do with arts. I watch a lot of movies, go to every art exhibition I can, and can pretty much lose myself for hours scouting the internet for new music. I also really enjoy biking, hiking or lake swimming. And while I don't spend much money on stuff, food is one of the (few) things I have no problem going bankrupt for.

Music, Movies, and Books
Mostly rock, indie, new wave,... Allan Rayman, Ben Howard, Current Joys, The War on Drugs, King Hannah, Nation of Language, Nils Frahm, Kae Tempest, are some of my favorite music artists at the moment.
As for movies I'd say some of my favourites are The Lighthouse, Herditary, Victoria (the German one), The Last Black Man in San Francisco, The Farewell, Nomadland,... Don't think I really have a genre I like most here.
Some authors I like : Charles Bukowski, William S. Burroughs, Fran Lebowitz, Jack Kerouac, Virginie Despentes,...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
What's amazing exactly?
I mean, I learned to walk, that was really a great moment if you think about it.
I also backpacked around in a few different places for a few months, which was a quite nice experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't know what this space is for, so I'll just put the link to a song I like.
