ABOUT ME
I've been to fascinating places, done fascinating things and met fascinating persons, however I'm not a fascinating person myself.
I'm born and rasied on an island in southern Sweden.
Therefore I really love the sea and when spending lengths of time away from the sea I feel a bit uneasy. But that's not a problem nowadays since I work as a seaman.
I work in 4 week periods on the M/V Magnolia Seaways and after 4 weeks I'm free.
I like rock climbing, biking, reading classics, watching movies and hiking.
That's what i try to do in my spare time.
I like to study the surroundings and I like to learn new things. Both practical skills and theoretical knowledge.
I'm a vegetarian and I like to cook and try new food.
I've also quit drinking completely. Last time I tried alcohol was about 10 years ago.
Are you still reading?
Oh! Well!
How I think others might (or might not) perceive me:
Calm, kind, silent, stiff, somewhat difficult, philosophical, intellectual, a bit distant (emotionally), humble (I surly hope so), shy, self-sacrificing, polite, correct, stubborn, earnest, serious, sincere...
How I like to be:
Harmonious, kind, open-hearted, open-minded, loving, humble and wise...
As an extra bonus for reading this far; things you could learn about me if you scratch the surface a bit:
-Loyal, I can be stubbornly loyal to causes and friends alike. Even if it would break my heart.
-Passionate, okay, you might need to dig a little deeper to find this one, but I can be really passionate when the circumstances are right.
-Forgiving, for me forgiving is a test of heart! I will go to lengths to try to forgive. Even when my own reactions tells me not to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We hosted a person from China. It was very nice. We also surfed a few couches in Sydney, that was a really fine experience! Then I hosted a few people in Gothenburg and I had lots of fun and nice meetings with new people.
