Money saving tip for all you unhealthy people out there:

Alcohol and tobacco is more expensive in Norway than almost anywhere else on earth (I've read that the only place with more expensive alcohol is Iran, where it is illegal). So if you plan on drinking and/or smoking, buy it before you come to Norway (or at least at the taxfree shops at the airport or boat). This is what is legal to bring in to the country: 200 cigarettes OR 250 grams of tobacco AND 200 cigarette papers. Alcohol:
1 liter with 22-60% alcohol AND 1,5 liters with 2,5-22 % alcohol
OR 3 liters with 2,5-22% alcohol AND 2 liter with 2,5-4,7% alcohol
OR 5 liters of 2,5-4,7% alcohol
