ABOUT ME

After graduating college i've been just living life for the simple things, I love being outside. Snowboarding is my passion. I work out west in the winters and just finished another awesome season at winterpark. Currently traveling the western half of the US. I love life and I love meeting people. When somebody first told me about couch surfer i didn't believe them b/c i didn't think there could be so many other people that like to just live freely and unplanned. After using CS I was blown away by how welcoming everyone has been, it truly is an awesome family of unique and loving individuals.

PHILOSOPHY

Love people for who they are. Everyone is different, and in this difference there is beauty. The hippies had it right, it really is all about love. If you can actually do it, everything else just kind of happens the way it should.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host when I can, i travel and move alot. most of the time in the summer i'm traveling or working from my parents home, which is in the middle of no where and nobody visits there. but when I can host I love welcoming people in. I try and surf when traveling because to me its the only way to travel. meeting the "locals" and getting a taste of the way they live and seeing things you will never find as a tourist. and just meeting and interacting with people is what traveling is about, to me atleast. I enjoy getting to know how you think, the things that are important to you, and just widening my world view. I've met people from Afghanistan-new zealand and each one of them has taught me something valuable and made me a better person a result.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Amazing, its so awesome to meet such a large group of people who unconditionally love everyone they meet. Haven't hosted anyone yet but I've met awesome people while surfing and seen some great places.

Netflix documentaries are awesome, that said I love thought provoking movies, "the experiment" is awesome, watch it then check the real story, really crazy the way the mind works.

180 degrees south, best travel movie ever, if you're reading this I garuntee you're the type that will love it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently hiked to the bottom of the grand canyon down near cottonwood creek I think it was called, followed a carn trail down to a plateau where we camped and then hiked several hundred feet down to the river. Simply unbelievable how massive that place is.
