About Me

Hey! I am traveling all around the world but want to really get to know each city I visit! I love taking pictures and enjoying a wine or good brew with friends!!

I grew up in a big family, so I absolutely love being around people but totally get respect for individual space. I am an avid reader, netflix binger, and trail runner. I love the outdoors more than anything and exploring every bit of the world around me! I love good cheesy dad jokes, trivia nights (where I usually just end up making up absurd answers) and great music.

I am a Sociology major, so if you're a talker (which I clearly am, thanks to the middle child life!, but also can take a hint if you're not), I love to get to know people, and always down for a chat!

I am very respectful and clean up after myself well. I am not the greatest cook, but think its good fun, although I am used to cooking for my big family so I am always down to help host a night to cook for y'all! I have worked at summer camps in america for about 5 years. Which if you have ever done summer camps you know we all crash at each others houses all the time all year long, and if you are part of the camp family you are included even if we never met! So, more like a secret community of couch surfers! hahaha. Living that dirtbag life. I also have my own tent and camp gear so even space in a yard is fantastic for me!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a huge people person, but as a long time traveler also respect other peoples' space; and value my own. I have done the summer camp lifestyle where you are pretty much living in close quarters with strangers that turn into family for 3 months, and that wonderful hostel life, as well as worked as a raft guide for a few months, and led backpacking trips for a living so that tent life is the home life. I have all my camp gear, so I don't need much.

I love getting to really know the lifestyle of the area i'm in, not just the tourist spots. I like to know all the small details like the best pie stop! haha its part of that writer life, and the sociologist degree I am in hella debt with. The best way to understand a new culture is the people in it! Especially fantastic fellow traveler people like yourselves! I cannot wait to hear some of the travel stories y'all have or have heard! They are usually pretty epic!

Cheers to those great chats we shall have in the future!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My biggest accomplishment was scoring my gig as an Outdoor Education Adventure/Journey Group leader! I got to travel all over Victoria, Australia and to some of the most awesome treks in all of Victoria!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am not sure what this box is for but here are some fun facts:
-Nutella was made when there was a shortage of chocolate so they mixed it with hazelnuts to spread the wealth and thus Nutella was born.
-The original Coca Cola contained traces of Cocaine; hence the name.
- Christopher Columbus landed on the island of San Salvador (Bahamas) not to be confused with the capital of El Salvador. Amerigo Vespucci is who America was named after.
-AND FOR THE BEST: ANNIE AND HALLIE IN PARENT TRAP WERE BOTH LINDSAY LOHAN

...but wait there's more! I just can't think of them on the spot here.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook alright. I have all my camping gear and can help lead a trek, if necessary with a full first aid kit to help us out! Good jokes, and can help do dishes and can provide some great tunes! (like a spotify playlist, I personally have little musical talent). I can also baby sit or dog sit and take dogs on walks and such too! I am pretty easy going so just let me know what else I can do to help!
