I'm an American who is a huge French nerd. I want to be a French teacher someday.
I love traveling and meeting new people! I'm very low-maintenance and don't require a lot. I really like learning about and sharing cultural foods, so it'd be wonderful if my host wanted to cook with me :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet local people wherever I'm going because it's a whole new travel experience when you meet locals. Also, I love making new friends, and some of the coolest people I've met have been while travelling. I'm really adventurous, and I'm always down to try new things.

Interests

Cooking, knitting, reading, listening to music, fashion, and travelling. I also like hiking and taking pictures (I won't call it photography because I'm terrible at it, haha). I love appreciating and being out in nature. When I lived in France, I went on a lot of hiking trips, and one day I did 21 km with some friends. It was great! I also love reading about a lot of different subjects, and I devour books. I love talking about and recommending books to people.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite band is The Killers, my favorite movies are the Lord of the Rings movies, and my favorite books are Harry Potter and Jane Eyre. However, I love so many that it's really hard to just pick a few.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moving to France. I still can't believe it! Europe was just an incredible experience. ummm...I climbed the Eiffel Tower/Notre Dame/Arc de Triomphe and those were all amazing. I love sitting on the hill under the Basilique de Sacré Cœur at night because Paris is all lit up and beautiful. Climbed up the tower of the Chateau de Nice and got to see the view of the beach and city which was incredible. I got to attend an Advent service in St. Mark's Basilica in Venice and that was also amazing.

I can teach you how to knit, cook some of my favorite dishes, recommend some great books, and bring you a gift. Also, I'd love to help people practice their English.
