Hiyaaa,

I'm an artist and recently graduated masters student, living in Newcastle UK and loving the geordie life, but pride myself on my scouse roots! I worked in the Contemporary Art gallery, giving tours and putting on workshops for kids... But I took a break from all that in August to travel!

I am friendly and super open-minded when it comes to trying new things; I like to challenge myself, especially when it comes to eating strange but amazing food!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My old flat mate recommended couch surfing as he has done it around Europe, and last year we hosted a few groups of absolutely lovely and interesting people from around the world! (references on his profile if you're interested in the link!)

I am finally fulfilling my dream of travelling the world, along with my best friend Katrina. We will be surfing through five continents over eight months and would love to meet people who can show us the the things that they like to see and do the most!

The longer we travel, the more it becomes apparent that it is the people who you meet along the way that make the places worth visiting and the memories worth keeping. I'm really interested to have an insight into real living life in different cultures; plus we just want to make as many friends as possible and hopefully return the favour by hosting them back one day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

White water rafted down the Zambezi river and ended up getting chased out of the water by an angry maternal hippo.
