Hi everyone! I’m a Cuban girl living currently in Barcelona, Spain. I love to meet new people and places and I consider myself very open minded, always eager to learn from every possible kind of situation.
I’ve been a Software developer for the past 4 years, but what I really enjoy is to be surrounded by nature and nurture myself with new experiences. I can easily adapt to new places and conditions and I try my best to make everybody around me feel comfortable and welcomed. I love to laugh, dance and speak about anything and everything! I looove animals and advocate for their safety and care. In my free time I use to hike (a lot) and I also love to swim.
From my travels I like to take with me the sense of belonging, sharing and helping as much as I can! I love to learn the culture and ways of living from locals but also to interact with the tourists (like me) and get to know they cultures as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because I like to travel, a lot, and this is a good way to meet new people and know in a different and better way the cities and places visited... and all this from one couch!
I’m looking for new and challenging experiences that allow me to grow and learn and I also expect to have fun while doing it, so...hope to meet you soon! :)

Interests

I love music, live music is the best! and I really would like to know how to play some instrument at some point in my life.
I love to paint even though I don’t consider myself a good painter haha
I love to dance anything and everything, I just let my body feel the music and move around to its beat:)
I like to read, preferred if it is a Science fiction book.
I like to be surrounded by nature and by animals(not dangerous of course!) and love to go for longs walks.
I really looove to eat and I’m super open to try new food, specially if its a foreign dish from where I’m traveling:)

I looove any kind of music, better live! But if I had to choose I definitely would choose blues/jazzy rithms to hear and any kind to dance! Love to dance 😊

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For me one amazing thing that I have done by myself have been going alone to do the Saint Jacobs way(camino de Santiago). Some people do it for religious purposes, but for me it was more to enjoy the nature and the feeling I had after finishing it made me realize that it definitely was the best choice I’ve ever made. I only walked for around 20 days but that was more than enough to see what my body (and mi MIND) is capable of! Super recommended if you are a nature lover!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to speak when I feel comfortable and I’m open to any kind of conversation/topic. I can share my experiences as well as to get to know the host better as long as they want to. But also, I’m open to help in any way I can during my stay, it doesn’t matter if it is cleaning, doing groceries or fixing stuff since I consider myself quite handy:)
