Hi, I'm Lily! I was working as an architect outside of Philadelphia before I left my job last summer to go travel in SE Asia. This winter I applied for my masters degree in architecture, so I'm currently in the process of deciding on schools. I'm on Couchsurfing because I think the best way to get to know a place is to get to know the people who live there. Although it's good to see the tourist places that make a city famous, my favorite days traveling are always the relaxed days where you just get to explore an unknown neighborhood. I've met a lot of travelers who have had wonderful experiences with Couchsurfing, and I'm excited to give it a try.

I love music of all kinds. Give me good soul, old country, new folk or electronic ... Actually, anything with great production, and I can find something I like about it. My taste in books is similar to my taste in music - as in it's all over the place. Lately, I've been reading books about nutrition, history, autobiographies ... You name it.
