Hi, my name is Lily. I am originally Dutch, lived in Canada, but most of my life in Ireland. After my divorce I decided to move to Spain to find who I really am. I have been here in Andalucia for the past 2 years. I like to expand my horizons, learn more about myself, the different people and cultures starting with a beautiful country at my doorstep. I want to travel through Spain first before venturing further.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It s a great way of meeting like minded people of different cultures and backgrounds. To be able to share experience and have fun together, share info and advice. And knowing that you are not on your own. It s a fantastic way of meeting others and having a place to stay when you have a low budget .

80's and 90's music but also modern. I like a mixture. I love traditional Irish music. Bob Marley, Sinead O Connor, Christy Moore, U 2, French and Greek music. All kinds of music really.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did white water rafting in Canada. Never experienced anything so scary and exciting at the same time. Trying to beat the rafts, working with your team in the boat, making sure you stay in and don t end uo on the rocks or spinning. It was wonderful, exhilarating. I loved it and much recommended for the adventurer.
