Recently moved out of London, drove across the states, and volunteered for most of the year in the Hawaiian islands. I'm a realistic dreamer with a sarcastic streak and a love of good (or bad) puns.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently surfing as as I travel and meeting the wonderful local people and travelers of the places I stop.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met amazing people, funny people, the kindest people, people I had nothing in common with, one cult, and friends I still keep in touch with and have seen again. It's like the rest of traveling with the benefit of knowing great minds think and Couch Surf alike. Mostly done during an around the world trip gap year plus change a few years ago.

Interessen

Eat, cook, COOKsurf, drawing, enjoying warm sunny beaches, Euro/German style board games, and learning new things, particularly the small things about new cultures. More interest than skill at sailing and surfing (a few classes of each). Bicycling and walking anywhere and everywhere, albeit quite slowly.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Dia de los muertos in central coastal Ecuador (it's a night of feasts good enough to raise the dead, har har har). A minority village wedding in southern China which means food and dancing for days on end.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Teach: lots of random trivia and information. How to cook strongly flavored food (often spicy, ethnic, or fried). Learn: I love to eat and cook so I really enjoy learning how to cook the foods of different cultures. I also just like trying new things, particularly beach related outdoor stuff.
