Journalist (travel, food, lifestyle and news), married to a Swede, about to make the move of a lifetime to a country I've never visited.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I like the idea of being shown around/showing others around the place, especially in touristy areas where it's difficult to experience the real local culture. It's nice to have somewhere cheap or free to stay, and I think everyone should be able to travel - not just those with the money to stay in hotels.

I believe in a more sharing society than currently exists. I hope we can learn to help each other out more than we do now. This is an excellent way to start.
