I'm a student studying cognitive science at UC Berkeley in California. I just finished a wonderful semeater studying abroad in Madrid and now I'm lucky enough to be traveling through Europe with my best friend. I'm curious about other people's stories, generally happy and excited to see new places and learn new things, sometimes a bit quiet at first, but always happy to listen and to share what I can. I love children and choral music and talking about brains and sitting in trees.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm hoping to meet locals in the cities I'm traveling to this summer! I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures, lifestyles and worldviews. Couch surfing is a wonderful way to get to know a city from a different perspective that I think I miss out on when I stay in a hostel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taught some middle school students a little about literature and physics and life.

I can teach super basic guitar chords, cooking and baking a few dishes, cutting paper snowflakes, singing in harmony, and speaking English, some Spanish, or ovagov.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook and bake and I'm always down for a jam session. :)
