I am currently in the middle of a 2 year break from what people like to call 'real life' and have been on the road since Feb 2016. If I really had traveled to all the countries I planned to go to, I would have seen the world by now. But there is one thing that is certain with me when I travel it is that I'll never stick to my plans and will change my mind all the time.

My backpack is always full of things I don't need but there are 3 things you'll always find, on every trip; my tent, a black marker to write hitchhiking signs and my teddy bear.

First of all, I believe that traveling doesn't have to be expensive and should be accessible for everyone. Saving money on accommodation makes a big difference, especially in Europe, and i am happy to help.

Meeting people that I would never have met otherwise.

I also love the fact that it forces me to forget all the prejudices I might have about certain cultures & nationalities.

You'll probably notice quickly as it is going to be my number one conversation topic; I am a real food lover.
Give me anything from street food to fancy food, spicy, sweet, .. even weird chewy things that are hard to identify and I'll eat it.

I am an occasional drawer/painter. I love photography, music and language.

I am also great at becoming obsessed with different hobbies, but forgetting them a week or two later.

My knowledge of movies is as good as my knowledge of Chinese. Ask me "have you seen..." and there is a 95% chance of me looking at you with a questioning look. One of my favorite movies is 'Into the Wild'. If you watched that movie and you liked it, we'll be friends!

Books are more my thing. Luckily I grew out of a weird "king Arthur and Lancelot" stories obsession and started reading all kinds of genres. I am a big big fan of Game of Thrones and have got my chair ready to camp outside of the stores when 'Winds of winter' comes out
