Currently in Slovenia, on my first ever pedal powered backpacking trip! My bf Sam and I are cycling from Berlin to Greece (via Germany, Czech, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro and Albania). We are doing the trip very low budget, so hoping to use couchsurfing to find some backyards to pitch our tent, or couches/floor space big enough for 2 :-)

We like to chat, share stories, food, recommendations, watch films, listen to good tunes, we are up for anything! We are lowkey guests, and will mostly just be really excited to be inside a building after living outdoors.

I was born in Devon, UK and grew up in the north of New Zealand on a sailboat. I have a degree in anthropology so meeting humans from around the world and picking their brain is my jam.

I am vegetarian, Sam is not. Happy for you to eat meat, I just won’t partake 😁

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling on a budget and hoping to meet as many open minded and cool people as possible while I crash on their couch. It’s always so much better staying in a new place with a local, to get the proper experience. All of my best travel memories and learning experiences have been through the years staying with amazing hosts!
