My mission is to see as much of the world as I can!

ABOUT ME

I absolutely love to travel and meet new people! My passions are traveling and photography, and I enjoy hearing stories of where other people have traveled. I also love learning about other cultures and seeing how people's lifestyles differ all around the world. My main hobby other than those would be doing something outdoors, like hiking or rock climbing, so I'm not too up to date on all the movies coming out or celebrity things.

I would say I'm a pretty outgoing person and am always up for an adventure and trying new things!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe everyone is basically good in the world, and that we are all similar no matter where we live. All that most people want out of life is to be happy and successful, though success is subjective of course.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been a surfer twice and want to continue! I love meeting locals and seeing what advice they have to share about the area and about their traveling adventures in general. I have yet to host due to my living situation, but once I'm in a better place I can't wait to show a few travelers around.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love murder mysteries, suspense, and books of people traveling. I don't usually like romance or action movies/books unless there is an unexpected twist or an ending that isn't cliche.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a 3 day trek through the jungle in northern Thailand where I stayed in huts of the locals and cooked the traditional food with them. Leeches aside, it was by far the most incredible experience of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

For someone in the United States, don't be afraid to go somewhere where you don't understand the language.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to say "thank you" by cooking some Persian food or Thai food (with dietary restrictions in mind). I have been to a few places, so I always love sharing in good conversation about traveling or whatever you're interested in, I just love learning about people!
