About Me

CURRENT MISSION

French girl living in NYC, but taking a long vacation and travelling in Europe! Freshly back from India.

ABOUT ME

Hi! Bonjour! Salut toi!

How can I start this...
I guess one of my first specificities is to be a dual French-American citizen. From my parents I directly got both French and Californian blood flowing in my veins.
I grew up in France and when I reached 23 years old, after university, I asked myself what I wanted to do and I decided the time had come to realize an old dream and take advantage of my American citizenship: become a Yankee and live in NYC, the city where everything's possible! (Well that's what they say)

I would say I'm very European (French?) in many ways and many of my friends remind it to me. I love art, small indie movie theaters, not using a car when I'm in a big city, eating and drinking wine in little cozy bars and restaurants :)

I believe I'm a pretty quiet or calm dreamy person, but who can also be a lot of fun, sociable, easy-going and open-minded. I love having pretty deep conversations with my friends but also going out and enjoy a kind of superficial amusement :)

My friends come from very different backgrounds. Already back in France one of my bestfriends was Chinese and by living in NY I got to know many various new people, from the Netherlands, Thailand, Japan, India, Germany... and different parts of the US.

When I meet travelers I love to listen to their always personal stories and consider what makes us different but also very similar.
I can also say I'm fascinated by the big travellers of our world (I admire the small ones too), as I believe it's by travelling, by leaving things behind and by confronting ourselves to a new road that we discover the most about ourselves and our deep Me. Sometimes a travel is just a story of pleasure, sometimes it confronts you to the Unexpected and can almost be painful, but it should always be an intense experience that makes us grow up.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A crazy bus ride in India: for 20 min siding gigantic moutain cliffs on a tiny road, in the evening fog, in an over-crowded bus. India in general is just amazing, I can't wait to go back one day.

Canada, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Poland, United Kingdom, United States
