About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live life to the fullest and meet beautiful people all along the way.

ABOUT ME

Go, run, jump, hop, skip, jump, go go go go, keep up. Move this, move that. Get your body rocking, make it happen, get up on it, get into it, get involved, get out there, jump in its ok, come on in, make a splash, feel the rhythm, feel the flow, go after it, enjoy the silence, enjoy the embrace, take a moment, hurry up, slow down, don’t work too much, watch a sunset, watch a sunrise, drink a glass a wine for over an hr while talking about a very long trip you have done. Forget where you are, forget who you are, enjoy the journey more than the destination, pick a destination and make it your goal to see it one day soon. Talk about what gets you motivated, what your love is, what you love about life with others, share a sandwich with a good friend. Split a beer with a good mate, do something nuts this weekend. Surround yourself with only really good people in your life and remove negative people from your circle of friends. Live your life like an adventure. Take note of a trip and look back on that note yrs later. Try something new, make something new, dance all night at a club. Make a meal for a good friend just for no reason. Enjoy a really sad movie, laugh you ass off at a funny one. Create a new drink and share it with some friends. Share a laugh with a stranger today. Do something strange today, feel the cold and think of the hot summer day. Try some new food today and tell someone about it, if you liked it or not. Go to a festival.. Call out of work to spend time with a friend.

PHILOSOPHY

Travel and let the world change you one trip at a time.

I believe to work very hard and play even harder, my life motto. My views/philosophy about life, ppl, world etc. are ever evolving. But for the most part I play by my own rules and create the life that I want to live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By surfing, hosting, and my meeting up more CSrs to hear about their travels and get inspired to see more of the world myself. I try to create events that others would be up for going to and to share some time with some good people that think like me too 

Music, Movies, and Books

all of it bring it on...Dance music is life...
Mostly listen to dance music in most forms of it, but throughout the yrs I have been a big rocker and Pearl Jam was one of my favorite bands but these days Above and Beyond are my favorite DJs around. And there are so many Trance djs out there now that are really pushing the music boundaries these days but the genre of dance music just But for the most part I am really just up for most music but just not so keen on country music. I have been to an opera before and enjoy some real good chill out tunes as well. Books is really hard as most times I only read when I am travelling but these days I break up some of my travel writings with food books or food travel writings like Anthony Bourdain from the states, or I do like a good thriller book. At this moment I am reading the best food writings of 2008 which is really good and super interesting so hear what is going in so many different cities across the states within the food industry. As for Movies well the list is super long but lets just say that my still top three of this past decade will will still have to be Control, Into the Wild and We don’t live here anymore. All of them are full on Dramas and will have to you thinking about things for the next few days after if not for a long time after…

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2004-Trip around the world. Need I say more?
2005-Faithless in Brixton, London. The best live show ever, next to U2 but so good.
2006- Scotland's highlands. Trip to Ireland for two weeks. Weekend in Amsterdam, Holland. Two week trip to see my old mate in Stokholm, Sweden.
2007- My trip to Spain, Portugal, Germany, Gibraltar, and then Morocco. But the best was watching the sunset in the edge of the Sahara, sittin on a proper sand dune too.

Teach, Learn, Share

Learn to cook and love the food, for food is life.... You must have love for the food or life will start to die before you..
I hope to learn different languages/cultures as I surf my way around the world. I am really into passing on some recipes I have to others and picking them up or even better yet some cocktail receipes as well. I hope also to learn from my hosts about local food and drinks of course and to have a great exchange with them if we can with time given.
