ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Charles. I spent a year exploring and traveling Europe while I was on a study abroad programme in Bristol (UK) and have fallen in love with traveling/backpacking ever since! I'm easygoing and I love talking to new people and finding out more about their interests and their experiences. (I'm always up for a good beer and a good night out ;))

I'm also quite easily impressed; the beauty of foreign countries never ceases to amaze me. (I come from the small city-state of Singapore, so wide expanses of nature and scenery never fail to blow my mind.) I'm very interested in history so given the chance I will love to find out more and visit places of historical interest!

As a traveler, I have not stayed at another person's home before and so I may be a bit formal when I first meet you! I hate to be a nuisance to other people so I will do my utmost best to avoid any inconvenience to my host!

By the way, I have since cut my hair (not what it looks like in my pic!)

I truly believe the world is full of friends that I haven't met yet, and that we should go out and explore as much of the world while we are still young and active

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to the couchsurfing community! Currently I'm looking to meet hosts from Spain as I plan to travel there for about 2-3 weeks as I take time off from my job. But I would love to participate in CS activities in my location as well!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

absolutely none! But I'm excited and look forward to my first experience with CS!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have seen the Aurora dancing across the sky in Tromso, Norway. Definitely an unforgettable sight
