About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Growing as a person still. Learning new things to help me grow

ABOUT ME

Hey there,
First of all I am very easygoing, low maintenance and like to think I am a fun person to be around.

I first started travelling when I was 19, then I went to Mexico (although my backpack ended up in florida), I travelled for four months in central and south America, this opening my Irish eyes to a world of wonder. Since then I have managed to have my own business, around the world trip, hitched through Africa (were I spent 6 of 8 months months living in a tent) and various other adventures. I Traveled around Europe, . I Lived in China for a while. Siince then I have returned home and got up to various mischief in Limerick and a couple of courses. Lets just say I have been keeping busy. I opened a Fish and Chip business in Ennis more recently and I love the place.

My travel philosophy is to help fellow backpackers as much as I can, and all i ask is that the people I help will do the same for others.

At the moment I'm living in shared accommodation and can't offer a room.

I tend to travel alone (although you are never alone, really), when i heard of this site from a friend I thought it would be a good idea to join. Plus i have 3 or 4 friends visit me here in Ireland every year and it is always fun to hang out with them, so it seemed natural to join couchsurfing and keep my mind open.
My main interests include seeing the wonders of nature, I am happy in the great outdoors as i am in a local pub though. I also like to head out to the coast to winddown , and believe cities are made to party. I studied media so I like to read between the lines.
Safe travels :)

One last thing, when I get to travel I find that it is the journey which seems to satisfy me more than the destination. The most interesting people I have met has been going from A to B. The destination is the bonus.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing i have seen is 30'000 Irish football fans, 20,000 Croatian football fans and thousands more Polish, sing and party together for 2 days In Poznan, Poland, made me proud to be part of it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think an important thing to do whether you are couch surfing, staying in hostels etc. is to share cooking with your fellow travelers. It's a great way to break the ice, save money and maybe make a friend for life.

I find, even amongst the very accomplished, the most humble people are still learning.

Better say something funny here. Amm, the
