About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Practice my French and learn more of it as much as I can!
ABOUT ME
I'm a 28 years old software engineer, originally from Netanya - a lovely city on the beach line, northern to Tel Aviv. I just moved to the city that never stops - Tel Aviv :) People would probably say that I love to smile all the time and love to make new friends (and pretty good at keeping old ones). I love to dance a lot - from Israeli folklore dancing to West Coast Swing dancing, or just at a good dance party :)
*Pause from writing about myself: here's a great video about Israel and what can you see in it: http://travel.walla.co.il/item/2986133 *
I have a passion for languages - from etymology to learning new languages.
By the time I learned some: Spanish (which helped me a lot while traveling in Central America), Russian (there are a lot of Russian people in Israel), and recently I decided to get back to learning French, since I met a lot of new French friends while dance-traveling.
Here are some of my favorite words/expressions in Spanish:
- enseguida
- peligroso
- mariposa
- bicicletas
- que le vaya bien
- pura vida
- sin título
- pagina
- fijate
- pasen adelante
- hoyo en un hoyo
- hielo
My new French favorite word now is: Tartiflet!
PHILOSOPHY
Smile! It makes everything look better :)
Take as much photos as you can - the experience is for a moment, the photo is forever..!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted many couchsurfers, and willing to host more in my current home. I've also surfed once in Costa Rica, on my first and last night there, and a couple of times in my road trip in the states.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Being able to host people from all around the world, just for the good karma is a wonderful experience!
I love meeting new friends, and I love the feeling of being able to help them around, and show them the 'local' point of view of Israel.
Apart of that, I've had a great time in my surfing experience! Learning new things about the country of my trip from a local - and from such a nice local - this would be an experience that would never be forgotten!
Interests
Music and dancing - I can't really sit still when I hear a good song that I like - I have to sing/dance it..! I'm also playing the piano - classical music - so it's really touching me whenever I get to hear someone playing really well on a piano.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Traveling on my own abroad for the first time was sort of an 'independence trip' for me, and left me with a lot of great memories.
- Seeing stunning nature - whether it is in my own county (Israel) or abroad - It always leaving me breathless to see all the beauty there is on this earth!
- Canopying in Costa Rica, above the wonderful Cloud Forest of Santa Elena.
- Sleeping in a little hut in a freezing temperature, where the pigs and hens are all around outside, in Chiabal, Guatemala.
I've had the luck to travel in all these countries!
