About Me

I was born and lived in Chile until I graduated from the University. I moved to Texas a year after graduation.
I am working for Texas A&M University, College of Veterinary Medicine for the last 23 years. I supervise 2 Histology laboratories.
I am a happy, very positive person that always sees the glass half full.
Life is too short to waste it with sadness and unnecessary worries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here because this is an exiting way to travel and meet new people.
I have always believe that to really know a country is not just to visit its tourist places, but know well the people that lives there. This is going to be a great way to live both.

Interests

I am planning to travel as much as I can during the next 10 years.
I like to see performance arts, art galleries, museums, anything!!
I love to take long walks and enjoy nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music..... SALSA !!!!! because I move all day long, love to dance.
Music from the 70, 80, 90.... jazz and just about anything but hard rock.
Movies...... funny, police type and real stories. Don't like love stories or scary one.
Books, my favorite author is Isabel Allende.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2005 we took a family vacation. We drove from Texas to Canada, stopping in Graceland the first day. Then the Niagara falls in NY for 3 days, seen the fall from behind is something I will never forget. Then we went to Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal. Came down from the east coast in the USA until we arrived in Georgia to visit my sister.
In 17 days we drove 5,700 miles, it was a trip full of adventures, museums parks, gardens, insectarium and around great cities in Canada and USA. Great vacation!
