Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hello, I’m a performing singer/songwriter from San Francisco (who also works as an editor and copywriter). I enjoyed CS pre-pandemic and have resumed using it during my concert touring of the EU. I hope to continue to meet people to share experiences with along the way and who help me learn as I explore new cities. I am returning to DIY-tour France for my fourth EU concert tour.

I enjoy walking around without an agenda and discovering what local people or places I connect with in the moment, seeing live music, surfing warm waves, farming/gardening, creating art, trading witty banter, making laughter, or relaxing in silence. When it comes to city nightlife, I do appreciate a drink with live music (of course!), or a friendly place where insightful conversations can unfold. If you can point me towards the local spots lesser known to tourist cameras, I’ll be grateful. And if you want to join me, even better.

I prefer to talk with good people more than take photos when traveling, and food and witty company are two of my favorite things. Kindness, always.

I’m equal parts extrovert and introvert; I can engage with each locale and love making new friends with an adventurous spirit, but I also tend to remain on the mellow side of things.
