About Me
Hey :)
I am Lina, a 19 years old girl from Germany and currently enjoying my time (not) studying.
Together with a friend of mine (Fabienne) I am doing a 1 month Europe trip with Interrail.
I've always felt very uncultured not knowing some European cities and countries so I figured it's time to catch up and when is a better time than now?
I've already made experiences abroad during my exchange year in the US and during 2 volunteer projects in France and Spain. That's how I have discovered that travelling is freaking awesome and I should totally do more trips to see amazing places, meet fun people and get an idea of different cultures.
But who am I?
At the moment I am still living with my parents in the outskirts of Berlin though they hardly get to see me cause I have my days filled with plans and activities. Now that it's spring again my motivation is at it's peak meaning I meet up with friends to do some cool stuff outdoors (pretending to be a skater, trying to jog and fail, swim a ton, basically everything that comes to mind).
I am studying Sustainable Management at the Technical University of Berlin and am also part of the Company Consulting Team run by students.
If you wanna know any more about me just text ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As mentioned before I am a student trying to make the most of my youth.
In my eyes Couchsurfing offers two huge advantages:
1. You get to meet local people and might even make some friends
2. You save a lot of money while traveling
The question should be "Why are you not Couchsurfing?", really. <3

Music, Movies, and Books
I am very open to all kinds of music (I don't think there is anything I wouldn't listen to). But I like being around new people to get musical input cause otherwise, I would just listen to the same old boring pop songs.
I really like all kinds of fantasy books and TV shows but also historic ones because it's a fun way to learn about actual events and history in general.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the best times of my life was probably the 1-month volunteer project I did in an eco-village in Spain. It was close to Almeria, kinda in the desert. That meant we were outside all day, taking care of the garden and the animals, going to the pool and admiring the landscapes. Not only the sun and the place were great but what made it special was living together with 40 people from 10 different countries. I was lucky to make some amazing friends that I have visited multiple times after we finished the project.
I like thinking back to the time because I was worry- and stress-free and right now in my daily life I feel rather stressed^^
Another great experience was a two weeks surf trip to Portugal and living together in a camp with other motivated, fun surfers.
