Here is the (short) story of my life:

Hey! My name is Lina and I was born in a small city in Germany. After 19 years growing up in an even smaller village (around 2500 people) with one older brother and divorced parents, I came to the US to be an Au Pair. (2015-2017) - Now I am actually back in the US as an Au Pair after finishing my apprenticeship and a year of working as a scrub nurse in Hamburg, Germany :D

I will turn 27 in May. 🫠

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My lifetime goal is to see as much from the world as possible, to meet plenty of different people and I hope that we are able to share stories with each other.
Also I want to explore and understand different cultures better and of course I hope to made some new friends from all over the world!

Interests

My interests are: martial arts (kickboxing/Muay Thai/BJJ), photography, swimming and meeting friends. Also I really like to play handball (the European game).
I love to travel - preferably alone, because it's easier for me to meet new people without another person which could hold me back.

So to say it in the short way: I love to be active and meet (new) people.

Books: I like different kinds of books, but I usually read them in German so their titles are not the same as in English...

Teach, Learn, Share

Always be open minded enough to teach something, to learn something new and to share a story.
I could teach you German tongue twisters or words which you like to know. Also I could teach you how to juggle with 3 balls/apples /lemons or how to do a split - so definitely things you have to know! :D

I would love to learn things about different cultures, cities, countries and people. Also I would love to learn more Spanish - I had it in school but I didn't kept up with it.

Let us have a great time together - we can sit down with a cold drink and talk about the past, present and future. Plans we have and those which we fulfilled already. I just want to enjoy the time with you together.
