From the beginning of January I will travel to New Zealand on my own for 6 months with the working holiday visa and it's my first time there! I am very curious about the country exactly on the other side of the world (I am from Germany).

I am a multi-faceted person, very adaptable but always true to myself. I would consider myself as childish and grown up at the same time, depends on what we're up to but you'll find out ;) I like literature, art, philosophy and classical music but also cuddling with dogs and singing made up songs with my boyfriend or friends
I look forward to meeting many people and hope for deep conversations, breathtaking adventures and hearty laughter with heartfelt people.

I am not looking for anything romantic, I am absolutely in love with my boyfriend, so please keep that in mind :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Even though hostels are a good place to stay and you get to know a lot of people there, it is still a little nicer to be a guest and to get to know New Zealand and its people more intensively. As a former exchange student and guest in many countries and families, I know that it is almost always a magical experience to be a guest. In addition, I would like to find fellow travelers who accompany me a bit on my way.

Music, Movies, and Books

I used to listen to bands like Bring me the Horizon (I still like them) and now I'm more attracted to music that touches my soul deeply. Currently these are Aurora, TENDER and often classical music. Other interpreters I like are Half Moon Run, AUSTRA, Queen, Oh Wonder and I love Musical Songs. I like the movies "The Lovely Bones", "Interview with the Vampire" and "Coraline". I do not watch movies often, but if so, then I am very focused and emotional. I like to read books from the Romantic period or authors like Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy, Goethe, Hermann Hesse ..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For a year I was an exchange student in England, where I experienced a lot of joy and what has changed my life and me a lot. The best experience, however, is my childhood with my best friends.

Teach, Learn, Share

Everyone can learn from everyone (especially from people who grew up differently and this is the case with foreigners / travellers) and all experiences bring us further. I'm sure that we will all teach, learn and share and that we'll grow during all of our journeys.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm adventurous (otherwise I would not be here) and Im open for everything! I'd love to do yoga with you and I want to share my thoughts and experiences with you and learn about your experiences and thoughts too. If there is anything I would really like to learn, then it is playing music instruments or any kind of art.
