I grew up close to Cologne in Germany and moved to Switzerland (Biel) to study there for 1,5 years. Since 2013, I'm living in Aachen where I study Biology. The city is small but has everything you need and friends and bars are always close. I'm currently working on my PhD in Biology. So I spend a lot of time in the lab/university. But when I have the chance, I travel as much as possible.

Interests:
I spend a lot of time doing sports. Gymnastics and cheerleading are my favorite sports but I also enjoy skiing, running or just doing calithenics. A few years ago, I discovered the joy of dancing West Coast Swing, Salsa and other latin daces like Bachata and Kizomba. Since then I go out once a week to dance.
When I have a little more time I spend it on photography, drawing and music.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to get in touch with people around the world. You get to know a country, a city much better when staying with people that live there and not only from the common touristy side.

I'm listening to different kinds of music from rock to electronic music, charts and latin.
My favorite books is definetly "Le petit prince" written by Saint-Exypéri.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are many amazing experiences I've made. One that is really special to me, was few years ago while couchsurfing in Costa-Rica. We went to a national park hiking in the jungle and saw a wild puma just a few meters away from us. It was one of the most intense and overwhelming experiences I've had in my life!
Also volunteering in an animal rescue center in the middle of the rain forest in Ecuador was a wonderful experience! :)
