Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I LOVE to travel, but money is always a struggle. I'm a student and I don't come from a wealthy family, so I've been trying to work and still be able to get out and see new places. I don't need a fancy hotel to stay in, just somewhere to sleep and keep my stuff. I want to spend as much time out exploring as I can!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I graduated high school in May of 2017, and I had to do a senior project. We worked on it the whole year and presented in front of a board in April. For my project, I learned how to install solar panels. Over spring break I went to Grand Junction, CO to install for a community solar project that benefits over 30 families in the area! In late May (2017), I went install on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. I'm Native American and it's very important to me to give back to my community because I grew up in mostly white communities, so it meant a lot for me to be able to visit and help the people of Pine Ridge!
