Hey, we are Lina and Tim from Germany! After traveling solo for 4 months, Tim and I will start Work & Travel in New Zealand together!

So I can’t host at this time!

I am a Social Worker and in my last job, I was doing International Youth Work, so part of my job was basically getting paid for traveling which was pretty amazing!:D
Tim is working as a Warehouse logistics specialist.

We both love traveling and are big fans of nature. We like hiking, animals, camping etc! Tim is very sportive and is bouldering in his freetime and I am very creative. I like drawing and painting and I started to teach myself electric guitar and piano.
We both love going to concerts and we bought a ticket for Twenty One Pilots in Auckland and are very excited for that (especially me haha).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it’s a really nice concept for making traveling more interesting and unique. You meet welcoming and friendly persons who share a part of their personal life with you, which is really special for me! You not only get good tips what to visit but also learn about the local life! I love it when people connect and help each other, so I am a big fan of this concept!:)
After my trip I hope I find a nice flat to give something back, cause in my old flat in Germany with six other roommates it was not easy to host people!

I like to discover new music and love different kind of music! So feel free to share your favorite artists with me! I love rock and metal music, but I also listen to Rap, Indie, Pop, classical music and more!

I really enjoy reading books and watching movies and my favorite movie and book is Harry Potter, I know it’s basic but it’s my childhood 😃 I also like books about personal development and psychology

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Semester abroad in Aarhus (Denmark)! It was so nice to meet so many people from different countries and cultures there and get to know another country!
My solo travel - I just started, but I already met many openminded and friendly people and I am so grateful for all the experiences I make

If you have a pencil and paper I can draw a portrait of you but I am still practicing, so don’t expect too much! Otherwise we can share travel stories!
