Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of people opening up and sharing their houses with strangers,
It is a great opportunity to share life experience and grandma recipes, and to get sneak peaks into alternative ways of living.

I've mainly hosted people, but I look forward to staying and meeting other couch surfers in their home towns. I had an amazing experience last time i surfed, in Colorado Springs, and in the Grand Canyon village.

Books.. I honestly haven't read that much recently, but do enjoy The wind up bird chronicle (Haruki Murakami), The left hand of darkness (Ursula K. Le Guin) and a swedish book series about Stockholm in the begining of the 20th century.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Roadtrip in Taiwan with a modern flamenco band in 2011. Meant being in a van with energetic hand-clapping latinos and latinas while listening to Jack Johnson for hours, while passing by hectic city traffic, oceans, mountains, rivers and taiwanease rice fields.
