ABOUT ME

I was been living/floating around Europe a while and am now back in my 'home' town, Perth in Australia. I'm realising more and more though that home for me is everywhere and nowhere. All I need is that feeling of complete freedom with no sense of time, and beautiful people around to learn from. At the moment freedom for me looks like putting some roots down here and being OK with that.

I'm sarcastic, have a ridiculously loud laugh and if I had to eat only one food for the rest of my life it would be corn.

I love love love the ocean, the feeling of floating on her is pure bliss. The most magical place I've been is Samothraki island, the trees have secret dance parties when we're sleeping and the island whispers stories all day.

I've recently graduated Neuroscience and am having a break to focus on other projects and breathe every day as it comes. Freo's not a bad place for this :)

While I was settling back into Perth I took a break from Couchsurfing but now I live in a beautiful share-house in Fremantle that is waiting to welcome new travelling faces!

I've surfed and hosted a few times, but not as much as I'd like.

Interests

Dancing! Anything mind/brain. Psychology and methods of communication. Camping and being among the trees. Off-grid living. Healing and alternative therapies. Making people smile with handwritten letters. Road trips. Festival vibes: from the massive Glastonbury to tiny folk festivals, they make me feel alive! The ocean. Feminism. Being lost in a big European city. Tea > beer

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything to get me dancing! Drum-heavy Afrobeat, electronica... At the moment Bonobo's Mirgation is playing on repeat. Paino music in the evenings, Yann Tiersen.

Books: Alain de Boton, lit classics, musical autobiographies. My vice is cheap n nasty crime thrillers.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share sciencey anatomy knowledge with you :)
Can teach you german/dutch, and can share my love for cooking! I love getting real, the superficial everyday conversation doesn't really do it for me.

Would love to learn massage/foot reflexology! And magic/card tricks! And anything building/carpentry. I'm planning on building a tiny house so I'd love any tips and tricks.
