Overview
About Me
Born and raised in Berlin but always keen to travel and get to know new places.
After my gap year which I spent travelling New Zealand, Japan and Southeast Asia I started studying Philosophy and Politics in the UK. Since the start of 2017, I've been back in Berlin to recover from an illness which meant I had to take a year off from uni. Now I'm healthy and fit again and will use the rest of the year to do internships and travel. Next stops include Amsterdam in June 2017, New Zealand from August until December , and hopefully India in summer 2018.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of sharing your home, your time and your experiences with travellers from all over the world. I had really great experiences with all the people I hosted in Wellington and can't wait to find out what being a guest is like!
Interests
I've mentioned I study Politics and Philosophy - you can probably imagine that I like a good chat and never turn down a friendly discussion. I like talking to people who don't necessarily share my viewpoint, provided that you agree with me on some key values like no racism, sexism, homophobia or other forms of discrimination and hate! If you're a racist, "xenophobe", sexist, or other form of asshole, please don't contact me or host me because I don't want to surround myself with toxic people like that and I guarantee you that we won't get along.
I love cooking and baking and will always be keen to learn new recipes, make a meal together or cook for you :)
Watching a good movie together while drinking a cold beer after a nice meal is something I'm always down for, as is going out to dance, to a concert, a museum or just chilling in the park with a beer in the summer.

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC
I like lots of different music, from deep house and techno to old school hip hop and rap to old Italian music from my dad, German rap, and indie rock. I'm always looking for more good albums (i.e. albums which don't just have two good singles plus filler songs), so if you have a favourite album, let me know and I promise I'll listen to it. Some of my favourite ones are Rebellion der Träumer by Kollektiv Turmstraße, Channel Orange by Frank Ocean, An Awesome Wave by alt-J, Veneer by José González, Dawn by Ry X, and many many more.
MOVIES
Thanks to my movie-fiend boyfriend, I've watched a lot of movies and have many favourites, just to mention some: Dead Man , The City of God, The Embrace of the Serpent, Goodfellas, Godfather, Cloud Atlas, Fight Club.... and many many many more. I give most movies (except Hollywood romcoms) a chance, and am always happy to get to know new ones.
BOOKS
I'm a passionate reader. Some of my favourite authors are Max Frisch, Haruki Murakami, Salman Rushdie, Isabelle Allende, Carlos Ruiz Zafón, and Peter Høeg.
