ABOUT ME

My boyfriend Simas, soon to be my husband and me, Lina - we are travel enthusiasts. If we did not have to work - we would probably wander all over the world. But here in Lithuania, where we are from, we have our typical lives - I work in a bank and Simas sells security systems. We rent a small 1 room apartment in the centre of Vilnius. We are just like you, if you're reading this - it means we have something in common. But at the same we probably have lots of differencies, cultural, those from our own experience and lives, which would be nice to share, right? :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

We travelled a lot one summer in USA and tried various places to stay - hostels, hotels, random places, camping, car... Once I heard about Couchsurfing - I had to try it out. It was kind of tricky to find hosts, especially when we were new here, profile not set up, not verified and etc. But it worked! We were super excited about coachsurfing! Economical reasons - yes. Normally they did not take any money. But we still don't come just empty handed - maybe small gift, maybe something for dinner and etc. But it is not about that. Main reason why - it is what wonderful and different people we can meet! They show places, which we would never find by ourselves and even don't imagine they existed! No, not tourists places - much better than that... And these several nights we used couchsurfing - were the ones we remember from all out big trip.
Now as soon as we have our own place to live - there will be a room dedicated for a couchsurfer! Definitely :)

兴趣

Travelling is our passion. We work, save money and then travel :) Then again work, save money and then travel :)
While we are settled back home, we do lot of physical activities: gym, running in the park, snowboarding.
Lina likes to go to yoga: classical, Mai Ram, Vinyasa, Kundalinni and any other type, sometime meditation.
Simas is interested in radio controlled boats, not only controlling them, but making them from scratch.

Music - it is most important it is around. Sometimes I like it hard, sometimes - very calm. Sometimes I listen to ACDC, sometimes to Norah Jones. Sometimes electronic. No particular style. It all depends on the mood.
