Currently I am working as a research assistant in the Biology Department at Edge Hill University (Ormskirk, England). I studied Environmental Engineering and Microbiology, but one of my passions as well is to learn languages. I fell in love with French after watching "La Vie en Rose" and got amazed with German after a trip to Berlin.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because it offers a great opportunity to travel all around the world and get to know wonderful people that in a conventional trip you wouldn´t have had the chance.

Interests

My interests are quite broad. I love science, especially if it has to do with microorganisms (yay!). I also enjoy being surrounded by nature and quietness. I tend to be very curious and get bored easily, so I have tried courses on everything, from origami to kung fu and Afro jazz. I love to dance and sing, although I have no talent.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movie is 'Midnight at Paris' of Woody Allen and "La Vie en Rose" with the amazing Marion Cotillard. Also I am really fond of Benedict Cumberbatch and reckon that he is the best Sherlock Holmes ever.

My favorite book ever is 'The Elegance of the Hedgehog' from Muriel Barbery, but I loved also books such as "1984", "Brave New World" or "La Ballade de Lila K".

Musically, I have to say my favorite band is Coldplay and my favorite singer is Zaz. However I love to hear different music genres and in several languages.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did Paragliding once in Colombia. It was an amazing experience with a gorgeous landscape.
