About Me

Dreaming. Drawing.Dreaming.
An early bird playing ukulele, guitar, cello and piano, cooking marmalade on cold evenings, baking cakes, listening to my moka in the morning, reading 4 books in 4 languages at the same time, gardening on my balcony and enjoying life A LOT.
Telling stories and drawing, drawing, drawing...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started using Couchsurfing when I was living in Spain. Since then I had a lot of positive experience.
I got so used to traveling while being there that now I can´t stop and I´m using every possibility to explore and most of all enjoy new places and meet new people and old friends abroad.
I enjoy sharing my thoughts and experience and learning new things about places, ideas and the wonderful people. And Vilnius is always a beautiful place to visit, I still have a walk or a bike ride every morning to enjoy this city.

Music, Movies, and Books

Perotá Chingó. My favorite for a long time. And their new albume Aguas is pure magic. I'm also listening to Gregory Alan Isakov, Devendra Banhart, Adanowsky, Las Migas, Lhasa, Nicola Cruz . I also love Jazz and African blues. Recently discovered electro and techno and I surprisingly enjoy it.

Books books... I finally listened to my father and read one of Tiziano Terzani's books. Now there's a tower of Terzani's books at my bed and I'm not leaving the house without one of them.
Also some Spanish poetry, I never get enough of Neruda and De Cuenca...
Having a romance with Else Lasker-Schüler...

When it comes to movies... My favorite is definitely Amelie but I'm also in love with the Italian cinema. Recently I watched some 10 or more Almodovar movies, it was like eating too much sweets but good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I changed my way of thinking when I lived in Valencia. I learned to slow down and most of all:
I always try to keep my eyes and heart open. The world is full of little miracles.

And I took Bici, my incredible green Spanish bike, with me to Lithuania! Now every day without rain (or even with) is a Bici day!

My last incredible experience was traveling from Poznan to Berlin with my penfriend (8 years of letters and postcards) in his old VW bus. Sleeping at hidden lakes, swimming, making coffee and drinking it in the forest. And simply taking all the time we need to see, hear, think and be together.

Teach, Learn, Share

My Spanish improved quite a bit during my time in Spain, and I wish to meet as much Spanish people as possible and hablar español, por supuesto :) !

I´m always happy to have looooong conversations. About what? About life. About love, philosophy, childhood memories, dreams, adventures. About art, religions and all the big and small things of this world.

I can share my time and good mood. In case of emergency, a little mattress on the floor.
