My name is Lina Ruiz, I am a 30 years old Colombian cultural manager, artist, empirical cook, and peasant apprentice. I have just finished my International Erasmus master's in Global Markets, Local Creativities (Glasgow, Barcelona, and Rotterdam) and I am willing to stay in Europe for the next months, before coming back to my home country. My will is to enjoy summer and at the same time engage in programs from which I can learn and then replicate ideas for my personal projects.

I have been working in research, design, programming, and production of cultural activities aiming to develop social and educational strategies to enhance local development. Today these projects serve as a guideline for my independent practice. My work is in the intersection between cultural management, cooking, and creative activity. It aims to encourage different ways to approach artistic, cultural, and social processes, from a multidisciplinary perspective. It intends mainly to bridge different areas, agents, and ideas, and it wants to serve as a connector or mycelium that enhances the encounter between subjectivities. Through a practice that finds its place between art, education, and ecology, weaving networks around the land, food, art, and cooking, I aim to impact socially and transform my environment positively. Through my work, I intend to build a platform from which it will be possible to generate networks of associativity, rethink sustainability and imagine future horizons as a community.
