ABOUT ME
You may say I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one.
I was born and raised in the north of Kazakhstan, but I'm not Kazakh as many people can think :) My parents are Ukrainians who live in Kazakhstan :)
When I was 17 I decided to move to Russia to study linguistics because learning foreign languages is one of my biggest passions ever. So I moved to Siberia and started to study linguistics there. I tried to learn French, English and Spanish, started discovering other cultures through the language and soon realized that it's impossible to know the culture not being there and having no idea how the life goes in the country you want to discover. So a year after entering the university I decided to quit and spend some time of my life traveling around the world. One day I took all the documents from my university and bought a one-way ticket to the city of my dreams.
I think there are many different ways of traveling. Someone wants to learn more about other cultures, someone wants to have a good time hanging out with people, someone wants to find answers to important questions.
As for me now, traveling is about people. When you're young , you know nothing for sure. So youth is time to meet as many people as you can, to listen to their absolutely different points of view, to talk about something really important, to see the world, to share, to understand and to love. And maybe only then you will find something special to tell the world.
I want to listen to your story.

Carpe Diem.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Fortunately, I had extremely positive experience in couchsurfing so far :)
Stayed with locals in Helsinki and Turku (Finland), Stockholm, Gothenburg (Sweden), Kobenhavn, Kolding (Denmark), Cologne, Flensburg and Hamburg (Germany), Charleroi (Belgium), Paris (France), Barcelona, Valencia, Madrid, Badajoz and Malaga in Spain, Reykjavik and Akureyri (Iceland), Warsaw (Poland), Moscow (Russia).
Unbelievably lucky to meet all of these people.
I would love to be a host to foreign couchsurfers in Russia one day because I truly believe that it's impossible to know the country only with the help of day tours, walking around the cities and buying souvenirs :)
