我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Quite stale perhaps, but I do believe in the entire sharing is caring concept and had a great time both hosting and surfing.

兴趣

I like to hang out with friends, go out, listen to music, go to concerts, books, chocolate. I am quite active, I've been practicing kickboxing for the last six years, like to go for a run and, rather obviously, I love travelling and the outdoors.

音乐、电影和书籍

I listen to different types of music, it always depends on the situation - at home quite a lot of indie and alternative, classic rock, old school hip hop. There are some (old) German rock/ punk bands I love, play Ton Steine Scherben and I'll probably consider you my new best friend. Coming from Germany, I prefer techno and electronica for party situations though. For books, some authors I like to read are Herman Hesse, Albert Camus, Christian Kracht, Hunter S. Thompson, Jack Kerouac, Haruki Murakami, just to name a few. While I enjoy reading novels, I also like to learn and like to read specialized literature. Connected to my studies I'm interested in climate change, and recently started to read a lot about artificial intelligence. I haven't seen a lot of movies lately and it's been the constant joke in my old apartment (where I lived with a bunch of artists). I usually like quiet movies, Oh Boy, Frances Ha, The Lobster, Jim Jarmusch, Finsterworld or documentaries.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hitchhiked East to West in Canada and down RN40 and RN3 in Argentina, all the way to Ushuaia - about 10000 km in three months. Quite a trip!
