Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe one of the best ways to get acquainted with a new country or city is through human connection with local residents, which one part of what Couchsurfing is about. Some of my best memories are with locals I've met on my travels. Looking forward to making new friends and lasting memories!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a big fan of Rupi Kaur's Milk and Honey and spoken word from Phil Kaye and Sarah Kay. I enjoy bingeing on Netflix series including Black Mirror, OITNB, the 100 and the 3%. Music wise, my interests vary, but I enjoy Indie Pop/Rock, Top 40 and the classics (Vivaldi Four Seasons = Life).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed a mountain called Adam's Peak in Sri Lanka on four hours of sleep around 2am, and somehow made it in time for a beautiful sunrise around 5am!

Teach, Learn, Share

Interested in learning how to cook and open to learning how to cook a variety of dishes from different cuisines. Would also love to learn how to play new boardgames, sports, arts and crafts, phrases to different languages. I can help English second language speakers practice, how to make some dishes (mainly Vietnamese, Western, some curries), and share travel stories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook you a meal or take you out for one, assist in the house chores, take some high-res headshot photos for you, be someone who listens to you without judgement and (hopefully) be an all-around good company! :)
