Overview
About Me
I am studying computer linguistics and linguistics in Tartu (Estonia). Currently I'm an exchange student with Erasmus programme in Miskolc (Hungary) for a semester. I plan to take maximum of my time here and would like to see Hungary and the countries nearby and travel as much as I can.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think it is one of the best ways of creating memories and travelling. This way you will not only see museums and sights, but meet locals and experience the real local culture and life.
Music, Movies, and Books
"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" by Douglas Adams in one of my recent readings and new favourites. I also like Terry Pratchett's Discworld series, Joe Abercrombie's "The Blade Itself", Patrick Rothfuss's "The Name of the Wind", Orwell's "1984", Haruki Murakami's "1Q84", Ray Bradbury's "Fahrenheit 451", Harry Potter series etc. The list goes on and on... I generally enjoy reading (expecially fantasy novels) and one of my life goals is to own a self that covers the whole wall (once I get my own place) or, even better, a reading/guest room (for couchsurfers of course).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was little, my brother went to Milan for some reason. I had so far only visited Finland with my family and I was SO jealous. I remember how I thought that when I grow up I will travel as much as I want and no-one can stop me. Last year I was speaking with my friends casually mentioning things that had happened with me abroad and I realized that my childhood dream/promise is/was coming true.
