About Me

I, Linda Guerrera, am a teacher, an athlete, a make-up artist, and curious wanderess.
I had the opportunity to adapt, live, work, and play soccer in very diverse communities. I lived in Lennoxville, Quebec where I studied, played varsity soccer, worked as a resident assistant and coach (for countless sports), for over 3 years at Bishop’s College School (BCS), a private boarding school. I also lived in Turin, Italy for over 1 year as an exchange student, studying psychology while playing soccer with the Torino female (first division) team. This also gave me the chance to find a job as an au pair to teach English and embody what it feels like to live on Italian soil.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My goal is to travel the world and absorb everything I can as an experience and education.
"Knowledge is Power," they say and I would love to bring my teaching to life.
My curiosity drives and motivates me to grow as in individual by stepping out of your comfort zone/s. Being a wander/ traveller is an investment for my soul, and truthfully teaching salaries are very minimal. Couch surfing will help me achieve my goal.

Interests

Very family oriented. Love to socialize with everyone because everyone knows something they can teach you. Learn more about societies, cultures, history, geography, languages (communication) and food. See all the different types of art that every country, city or village has to offer. What I am very interested in, are the things places have to offer that aren't mentioned in pamphlets, the things you can only see/learn (experience) from/with the locals.
