About Me
NO HOSTING POSSIBLE FROM END OF JULI TO DAY I HAVE NEW FLAT ;-)
Hello worldtravellers,
I'm Linda (25), a Cologne-Girl living in beautiful Krems in the UNESCO World Heritage Wachau (Austria) where I am studying Human Rights. As a passionated blogger, author, journalist and ghostwriter I'm a curious and positive person who is enjoying life and loves to meet new people - making friends around the globe.
I can talk nineteen like a dozen, need to turn my pillow a couple of times to sleep on the cold side, freak out when someone is stopping in the middle of a sentence and do the same mistake a couple of times just to be sure. With me you will never feel bored but might have conversations on which is the best superpower.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am really chilled person to travel with and prefer backpacking-trips over organized tours. Although I am never without a plan and very reliable I love to be spontaneus, taking the chances and having fun by not worrying too much. On my trips I love to get in touch with locals and get to know their perspective, lifestyle and favourite places! If the result is a new friendship that's even better. I love to hear your story and share experiences 'cause for me there is nothing better than long conversations, learning from each other and getting inspired. So share your story with me. I would like to share mine.
Interests
What I can already tell you is that I'm addicted to karaoke, cooking with friends, and biking tours. I love photography, rollercoasters, 90ies trash partys, sports, hiking, exploring nature and going to sauna. Having a really good coffee and the time to actually enjoy it is one of the biggest pleasures. Sometimes it's about the little things.
What else to say? I am really caring about a healthy lifestyle but not complicated at all. For example I love to have vegan/vegetarian food, going to organic food markets, trying new restaurants/dishes and learning local recipes but if you have a good steak to offer I am the first one to join. Although I lived in a wine region I have no idea about that but can tell you a lot about beer.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love to listen to Rock, Rock'n'Roll, Reggae, Hip Hop and Dancehall. Sometimes 90ies trash can be fun as well. When it comes to movies I am a Marvel and fantasy-movie fan who is addicted to series like TWD, Vikings and GOT. I can't count the books I own and love to read biographies, non-fiction, travel literatur, fantasy and historical novels, . Buying new ones I like to follow the references from friends, trying to read the favourit book of every person I met.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My best travelling experience so far was a river hiking tour in Greece when we were swimming with backpacks, diving through bat-caves, climbing up ledges with bare hands and jumping in amazing lagunas as a reward. This moment when you - totally exhausted - grab a liana to swing through the air in front of turquoise-blue waterfails, let go and feel the ice-cold spring-water giving you new life was one of the best Feelings ever.
