I'd have to say I'm somewhat reserved. I love nature and the outdoors. I'm not a neat freak but I don't like messy. I work 12 hour shifts so availability will be varied. I grew up in Northwest Illinois and moved to Wisconsin in summer of 1999. Been here ever since. I go to bed by 10pm most nights and don't get up early other than when I have to work so I appreciate someone who can be quiet if they're up after I am or before I get up. Not really sure what I'm supossed to put in here so I will update this after seeing what others put in theirs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm hoping to do more travelling in the future and looking for people/places who can show me things to do where they are from and can provide reasonably priced accomodations. Also, willing to host people in my area to show them what it has to offer. We have kayaking, rafting, hiking, biking, a couple of live theater options, movie theater and camping all close by.

Interests

I enjoy live theater, going to concerts on ocassion, nature photography, camping, hiking, biking and kayaking. Tubing and snowshoeing is fun also. I offer my time as a volunteer at different times throughout the year.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to mostly rock and country. As for movies, I enjoy a wide variety. I loved The Lord of the Rings, movies and books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

? I will be going on a trip on the Amazon River in October so that will be awesome when it happens. Otherwise I've gone whitewater kayaking..guided and nothing too dangerous.
